I’m super excited to introduce the Cherokee County Arts Council‘s newest partnership with The Mill Building & McNabb Properties! Beginning January 30, 2025, David Vowell will curate this quarterly exhibit in Downtown Murphy.

Cherokee County Arts Council showcases the many talented artists of our community. The gallery at 33 Valley River Avenue in Downtown Murphy has an ever changing free Art Exhibit with Meet the Artist receptions, lectures, and classes.
Artists are welcome to join the CCAC membership, providing opportunities to participate in the Open Studios program, sell in the CCAC Gift Shop, exhibit in the gallery, and teach classes. Many ask if you need to be an artist to join and the answer, is absolutely not. Individual, Family, and Business memberships are available for those who love and appreciate the arts.
Here are fellow board member and artist, Nathan Baerreis, and CCAC Director, David Vowell, to chat about the community outreach activities, artist opportunities, legacy preservation projects, gallery exhibits, and all things Cherokee County Arts Council…
We will host the grand opening of The Gallery at The Mill January 30th at 5:00-7:00 pm with the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce’s monthly networking event!
