Easing into Fall

We’ll be honest, we checked out for summer and neglected the blog life. In our family, it’s a season of nights on the porch, riding bikes, and jumping into the lake as often as possible. We took full advantage of a relaxed schedule without… Continue Reading “Easing into Fall”

An Indoor Option

Parents, you know immediately at parent pickup if your kids have had indoor recess. They’re like rubber bands, wound up and ready to argue with all the siblings. Sadly, Mother Nature is more stubborn than our youngest daughter so we’ve taken to indoor options.

Thyroid Awareness 5k Run / Walk

As the parents of four daughters, we have been blessed to know many families of our girls’ friends. Our Sofia first met Bella in Kindermusik and they have gone to school together since preschool. She has always been a phenomenal young lady and we are grateful for their friendship. When Bella was diagnosed with this she truly amazed me as she handled it all with such grace.

We hope you will consider participating in this event and sponsoring to help further promote awareness.

The Journey Begins

You hear of those small towns where people have a connection with almost everyone. Murphy is one of those towns, nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina. On our wedding day, we had friends and family from all over the Southeast and Midwest,… Continue Reading “The Journey Begins”
