Becca and Victoria took a much needed Bob Ross inspired break from event planning to learn the art of pottery from our local legend, Mike Lalone. Murphy Business Association and Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce have some amazing events on the calendar in May and June! Mike is an instructor at Young Harris College, sub at Cherokee County Schools, fellow board member of Cherokee County Arts Council, and beloved member of the community. He’ll be demonstrating in front of Cherokee County Arts Council at Murphy Spring Festival Saturday May 11th and every First Friday during Murphy Art Walk in front of Cherokee County Arts Council on Valley River Avenue.
One thing’s for sure… he has the patience of Job and we loved this oddly therapeutic experience. Enjoy all of the fun here in the mountains of western North Carolina!
