Alpacas for Stress Relief
I always say you can’t be sad when you’re holding a cupcake… I can now say the same is true of petting an alpaca.
We took a break from our crazy schedule and visited Two Crows Farm in Murphy. My children fell in love with the animals and instantly begged to add an alpaca to our pet mix of 1 cat and 3 dogs. One small problem, they are herd animals and you are encouraged to own at least five… which became 6 because “I mean, duh! We each have to have the same number of pet alpacas, mom!”
They asked for a herd for Christmas, but Santa and I have a No living animals on Christmas morning agreement and he’s a man of his word. Fortunately, we can schedule an appointment to visit Two Crows Farm and keep our pet count at just four. Just know it will be difficult to tell them goodbye…
